The linoleum block is the basis for what I call my “collage Prints.” The block is printed on various colored papers, then cut and pasted to form the collage. This gives me the freedom to change each print depending on my memory of the event. The 2017 Napa and Sonoma counties fires are the inspiration. A reverence for history is my guide.
